S2E1: Living in Alignment with Aminata Dia

Aminata Dia

We kick off season two with an enlightening conversation with my dear friend Aminata Dia, a design thinking consultant residing in Dakar, Senegal. Aminata opens up about the first time she wore a hijab in Paris and how it dramatically changed her lived reality.

In between, Aminata talks about her marriage and divorce in June 2019, her failures and insecurities, and what she has learned in the process of cultivating peace and acceptance of her narrative.

This is a powerful story of accepting yourself and holding on to your values in the face of other people’s criticism. This conversation made us smile, laugh and look at life differently, and we hope it will do the same for you.
